April of 1996, Karl S. Kellen took an old local cafe and “pile of paint booth” and launched Karl’s Body Builders doing auto body repair,
customization and restoration. As his business grew, he expanded on his ability to serve his customers along with his wife Melissa, by offering custom graphic decals through K & K Graphix. By May of 2006 he saw an emerging trend in the cycle world and they began there trike conversion business as Main Street Bikes & Trikes. To make room for this new endeavor he added a 4,000 sq. ft. addition to his
current location in July of 2006 complete with an 800 sq. ft shoowroom.
